NASA ASTRO CAMP® TO GO Club.
Curiosity is better with a crew.

Nine weekly one-hour sessions, five NASA-style missions, and a LIVE virtual teacher every week. A full kit of materials arrives before the first meeting, everything is included except water, and every student finishes week nine with a certificate of completion.

There are two ways in. Join our national club or host a club of your own at your school, library or program.

NASA ASTRO CAMP® has been run with NASA since the 1990s. The Club is the year-round version of it.

Join ours, or host your own.

Same missions, same kit, same LIVE teacher. What changes is whether you join a club we run or host one at your site.

Two brothers in NASA shirts working the same activity at the family dining table, each with a tablet propped in front of them for the live session, the kit materials and the printed guide spread out between them.

For families

Join our national club.

Register your child and they join a crew of learners from across the country, working the same mission at the same time every week.

  • Our LIVE teacher leads every session. You do not teach or prepare anything.
  • In person or from home. If there is no club near you, the Virtual Club is the same nine weeks.
  • $275 per student plus a $25 registration fee. Everything is included, shipping too.
A club meeting in a school library: two long tables of students holding up the small cardboard rockets they have just built, each with a light glowing in its nose, while the live instructor takes the session from the screen at the front of the room.

For schools, libraries and programs

Host your own club.

Run a club at your site with your own crew. You bring the room and one adult; we bring the teaching, the kits and the curriculum.

  • No science background needed. A LIVE virtual teacher leads every session.
  • We pay your facilitator a stipend that grows with enrollment, beginning at ten students. Families can fund the club directly, so your site only needs to provide a space to meet.
  • Up to twenty-five students per crew, in three grade bands.

Find your day

Three crews. Same day, same time, all nine weeks.

Learners join the crew for their grade band, and that crew meets on its own day every week. Pick the start time that fits your week.

What the nine weeks are

Five missions. Countless memories.

Observe. Build. Sustain. Innovate. Advance. Every mission carries a career connection.

1Arrive and Investigate

Survey the planet. Analyze terrain, atmosphere and resources.

2Establish a Base

Design habitats. Build circuits. Purify water.

3Sustain and Grow

Generate oxygen. Transfer energy. Design for long-term survival.

4Explore the Unknown

Build motorized rovers. Model flight. Test materials.

5Discover the Next Horizon

Test propulsion. Model orbits. Design robotic controls.

NASA ASTRO CAMP® began in the 1990s at NASA’s Stennis Space Center in Mississippi. Central Creativity became an official NASA K–12 Learning Partner in 2017, and in 2020 we built NASA ASTRO CAMP TO GO with NASA and hosted the largest single-week NASA ASTRO CAMP in the world. The Club runs it year-round.

What people say

From somebody who has seen a lot of kits.

“I’m highly impressed with the kit’s organization and labeling, which surpasses others I’ve purchased at a higher cost. Your team has really nailed it.”

Every astronaut was once a curious student interested in space.
