What You Can Join in Louisville

Every one of these is delivered locally, with materials and training that come from Central Creativity. Pick the one you want and tell us about your group -- you do not need dates or numbers to start.

A NASA ASTRO CAMP TO GO STEM Club session

NASA ASTRO CAMP® TO GO STEM Club

Afterschool club, at home or at your school

A STEM club built on NASA ASTRO CAMP TO GO and run inside your own building. A partner teacher at the school hosts the sessions and is paid a stipend for it, and a Central Creativity virtual instructor joins every session at no extra cost -- so the teacher hosting it is never the one who has to be the expert.

Three ways in. Sign in to our virtual Astro Camp from the comfort of your own home, join one of our in-person Astro Camp partner sites in the area, or start your own NASA ASTRO CAMP® TO GO STEM Club at your school. However you join, the experience is out of this world!

Field Trips

A day, at your site or ours

A day built around doing rather than watching. Your group works through a real build with real materials, facilitated by people who run these every week. Schools, camps, community groups and homeschool co-ops all book them.

STEM Events

One day, any size

From a science Saturday at a library to a stadium concourse. For children, for grown-ups, or for both together. The Louisville team brings the stations, the materials and the facilitators.

Want to run it yourself? We offer a self-contained kitted version of our interactive STEM Event -- six stations, materials, signage, facilitator guides and training -- that contains everything you will need to host your own event. We will train and support you, as well.

School Partnerships

During the school day, all year

We come in and run a STEM elective during the school day, as a supplemental instructor on your timetable. Your students get a course built and vetted nationally; your teachers get a planning period back.

Students in an afterschool class working with technology

Afterschool Classes

Weekly, after the bell

This is where students meet the technologies and the careers of a 21st-century global landscape before anyone tells them those are hard. Robotics, code, design, flight, media -- taught as something you do, not something you read about.

We work at the front edge of educational innovation, and we build the programs our national partners -- NASA among them -- use to reach the next generation of innovators. Every Central Creativity location is as unique as the community it serves, so what runs here is chosen for Louisville.

For Teachers and Schools

We Support our Adults Too!

We believe the single greatest element that leads to student success is the Teacher. Whether you are in the formal classroom or sitting across from your children at the kitchen table, we are here for you, too.

Professional Development That Is Actually Impactful

Prepare to have a Wow-worthy experience. You build the things your students will build. Delivered by people who still teach, our trainings prepare you to maximize the impact and elevate the experiences that lead to those meaningful outcomes.

STEM Education Series Kits

For the moments when you need one activity that lands -- a space to fill, a theme to hit, a week that needs something better than a worksheet. Single-topic kits across science, engineering, math, coding, flight and literacy, each one self-contained and ready to hand out.

A custom Central Creativity build

Need Something Custom? Let Us Do the Work. You Take the Credit.

Have an idea or an experience you want brought to life? Bring us four things -- the idea, who it is for, the outcomes you are after, a budget and a timeline -- and we will come back with a free quote and an honest read on how we can support it. Design, curriculum, art and manufacturing all happen under our own roof, so what you imagined is what arrives.

In-School Partnership

A STEM Elective in Your Building, All Year

We put a Central Creativity instructor in your school as a supplemental teacher and run our STEM program during the school day. It is built to grow comprehension, and to develop the critical and creative thinking the rest of the timetable assumes students already have.

A principal has to answer for more than that, so we measure alongside you. We agree at the start what matters -- attendance, engagement, behavior referrals, whatever your improvement plan is actually judged on -- track it through the year, and hand you a full-color report of what we found. Not a brochure: the numbers, and what we would change next time.

  • Your teachers get a planning period back while it runs.
  • Nationally built and vetted curriculum, delivered locally.
  • One contract and one invoice, from headquarters.

Meet Our Local Partners

We are honored to support classrooms across our great city. Here are a few of the partners we have worked alongside.

  • Jefferson County Public Schools
  • Grace James Academy of Excellence
  • St. Albert the Great Parish School
  • Saint Patrick Catholic School
  • Louisville Free Public Library

Each of these organizations has worked with Central Creativity. Their names and marks appear here to say so, and not as an endorsement of Central Creativity by them.

What People Say

From the Families and Schools Already Doing It

Real people, in their own words.

We've enrolled our children in plenty of summer programs, but this was one they couldn't wait to get back to every morning. NASA ASTRO CAMP® made science feel like an adventure instead of a subject.

Mary P.Parent of an NASA ASTRO CAMP® Participant

I expected my daughter to have fun; I didn't expect her to come home every week talking about engineering, space exploration, and careers she had never considered before. That combination of excitement and learning is what has made the STEM Club stand out for our family.

Theresa L.Parent, 3rd Grade School Partnership

The weekly STEM experience has changed what our students expect learning to look like. They don't just want to hear about a concept anymore -- they want to build it, test it, take it apart, and figure out why it works.

Leonard R.Private School Administrator

My child doesn't tell me, "We learned about circuits today." He tells me what he built, what didn't work, what he changed, and what he wants to try next time. That's a completely different kind of conversation about school.

Jeoffrey W.Parent of a 4th Grade School Partnership Student

Putting the NASA partner window cling in our entrance immediately generated questions from families. It gave us a visible way to start conversations about the STEM experiences happening inside our school and why we've made hands-on learning such an important part of what we offer.

Juanita G.Elementary School Principal

How It Goes

From a Question to a Session

The same five steps whether you are a parent, a principal or a purchasing office.

  1. You tell us what you are trying to do Not which product you want -- what you want to happen in the room.
  2. The Louisville team plans it with you Dates, ages, numbers, venue, and what your group already knows.
  3. You get one quote, from headquarters One contract, one invoice, one place to send a purchase order, wherever the program happens.
  4. The Louisville team delivers it Trained facilitators, with materials that came from us.
  5. You find out how it went What was built, what was learned, and what we would change next time.

For Families

You Can Do This at Home, Too

Not everything we make needs a school around it. A good deal of what Louisville runs in classrooms is also sold as something you can open at your own kitchen table.

Kits You Can Use at Home

Everything for the activity is in the box, already sorted -- so the evening starts with building rather than with a supply run. They are made to grow comprehension and to hold attention, which are the two things a parent is usually actually buying. See the catalog

Homeschool Families

Field trips and STEM support tools built for homeschool groups and co-ops specifically -- not a school program with the school parts crossed out. If that is you, get in touch and we will walk you through what fits your group's ages and rhythm. Ask Louisville about homeschool options

Afterschool Classes

Weekly, after the bell. Robotics, code, design, flight and media, taught as something you do rather than something you read about -- close to home, on a schedule that fits a working week. See what runs in Louisville

“The materials showed up at our door, everything was organized, and all we had to do was log in. No running around looking for supplies or spending Sunday night preparing activities. For a homeschool family, that kind of convenience is priceless.”

Who Runs It

A National Program, Run by People Who Live Here

Nobody knows what a community needs like the families living in it. This location is locally owned, and what it delivers is the same nationally built program our partners use everywhere else.

What that buys you is both halves at once. The curriculum, the training and the relationships -- NASA among them -- come from a company that works nationally. The person who answers your email lives in Louisville, knows your schools and your calendar, and will be at the event on Saturday.

We are not dropping a program on your town and driving away. If you want your child enrolled, your school partnered, or your classroom supported, you are dealing with neighbors who are raising their own children here.

Central Creativity has empowered us to merge our love for education with our commitment to community service. Together, we're driving equitable change and igniting a passion for learning in our community.

Your Enquiry

Everything except the message is short.

This reaches our headquarters team with Louisville attached, so the right people see it and your quote, invoice and receipt all come from one place. We use what you send here to answer you, and nothing else.
