Stomp Rocket Kit
Stomp, whoosh, liftoff!
Set the rocket on the launch stand, then stomp on the air pump to send a blast of air rushing up the hose. The rocket shoots into the sky, and every stomp becomes a new experiment. A harder stomp sends it higher, so testing force and height turns into a friendly competition. It is a fast, hands-on way to see how air pressure and force work together to launch a rocket.

Real-world connection
What Does It Take to Launch a Rocket?
Every rocket launch is a battle against gravity. To lift off, a rocket needs a powerful, steady force pushing it upward, strong enough to overcome its own weight. Aerospace engineers spend their careers calculating just how much force a rocket needs, how to aim it, and how long it must last. The Stomp Rocket puts that challenge underfoot. A single stomp squeezes the air in the pump, building pressure that rushes up the hose and launches the rocket skyward. The more force behind the stomp, the higher it climbs, giving every launch a chance to test, adjust, and try again.
For classrooms
The Stomp Rocket Kit is a great fit for classrooms, after-school programs, and camps. Each kit builds one launcher and rocket and arrives individually packaged with all materials and instructions included.
For best results, launch outdoors or in an area with plenty of open, overhead space.
