Real-world connection
The science of reading meets the power of STEM
Every module opens with one direct, explicit Reading Horizons phonics lesson. Reading Horizons brings more than 40 years of literacy expertise and an Orton-Gillingham-based approach, so students see, hear, say, and touch as they learn.
Hands-on STEM activities follow, where students apply their new skills while building, experimenting, and problem-solving. Each activity ends with a literacy connection through vocabulary, writing, and reflection.
