Our signature science program · Grades K–8
Learning, cleverly
disguised as fun.
A full year of hands-on science, aligned to NGSS and state standards, with state-specific editions available. Six units and 24 investigations in every kit, and no activity is ever repeated. Every activity arrives pre-measured, labeled, and ready to use.
- 6units in every grade-level kit
- 24hands-on investigations a year
- 4students may share one kit, at most
- 3science domains
- 0prep, devices or Wi-Fi required
Because teachers shouldn’t have homework

Matching hands-on activities to your standards and pacing guide.
Every unit is aligned to NGSS and state standards. State-specific editions are available. Units are non-sequential, so they fit any pacing guide.

Sourcing, measuring, and prepping the materials.
Every activity arrives pre-measured, labeled and individually packaged. Even the scissors, glue and tape are in the kit.

Figuring out how to teach a lesson you have never taught.
Each kit includes full color, step-by-step instructions with the background science, plus access to digital guides and instructional videos for every activity.
Open the kit and start teaching
One kit. Six units.
Twenty-four activities.

-
The Kit
A full year of science. All six units in one box, with the materials for all twenty-four activities.
-
Six Units
Each unit is a complete, self-contained topic with four hands-on activities. Units are non-sequential, so they fit any pacing guide in any order.
-
Four Activities per Unit
Twenty-four in all. Each one is a single investigation a class can do start to finish, with its materials individually packaged and labeled for that activity.
What the units cover
Three science domains, K–8.
With engineering design built into hands-on activities.
In grades K–5, every grade-level kit covers all three domains. In grades 6–8, each kit focuses on one domain and is available in an NGSS or state-specific edition, so teachers can match the kit to the course and the standards they teach.

Life Science
Living systems, organisms, ecosystems and biological processes.

Physical Science
Matter, energy, forces and physical interactions.

Earth and Space Science
Earth systems, weather, space and environmental science.
Engineering Design
Design thinking, problem solving and engineering practices. Instead of a separate unit, engineering is built into hands-on activities across the program, so students design, build and test while they learn the science.
Inside one activity
Built-in support on every page.
Every guide is built so you can teach with confidence. Each activity includes the same core support: the background science, an engaging way to start, pro tips, safety notes, and ideas for students who need more support or are ready to go further.
- Big IdeaAn overview of what students will learn through the activity.
- Essential Info and Words to KnowThe background science and the vocabulary students may not know.
- Engage and Did You Know?Ways to introduce the activity, plus fun facts to share.
- Pro Tip and SafetyTips to run it like a pro, with any safety concerns called out before you start.
- DifferentiationIdeas for students who need extra support or are ready to go further.
- Math, ELA and What’s Next?Ways to connect other subjects and take the topic further.
Learn the layout once and you have learned all twenty-four.

Flexible implementation
It works wherever the classroom is.
In school
Traditional classrooms and dedicated STEM classes. Use daily or weekly to enrich and reinforce science concepts alongside any existing curriculum. Each kit can be shared by up to four students, making it an affordable option for any classroom.
Beyond the bell
Summer and expanded learning programs. Use daily, weekly or monthly to provide enrichment and prevent learning loss. Buy a complete kit, or only the units you need.
At home
Homeschool settings, in person or virtual. Complete programs make it easy to use at home all year long, with no Wi-Fi or devices needed.
“A game changer. I would recommend it for all teachers who don’t want to spend hours planning.”
A teacher using Classroom TO GO
“My students love it and I’m spending my time teaching, not prepping.”
A teacher using Classroom TO GO

One classroom, three years
A first-year teacher posted the
highest literacy gains in her school.
Skylar Thomas was in her first year teaching fourth grade at Muessel Elementary when she used Classroom TO GO as her core science instruction. Her class finished the year at 107% of its literacy growth target, up from 79%, and posted the highest literacy gains in the building. She credits the vocabulary and context-clue practice built into the background reading for every activity.
She was named Teacher of the Year at Muessel the following year. The school has grown its order every year since: one classroom, then three grade levels, then every fourth grade in the building.
Pick your grade

Build your order
Every unit is aligned to NGSS, and state-specific editions are available. Pick NGSS if your state follows it, or call us if you need help finding your state’s edition.
