Matter & Its Interactions focuses on how substances interact and change during physical and chemical processes. Students learn how reactions can produce gases, create energy changes, or form new substances. Organisms and Ecosystems Life Science

Energy in Organisms and Ecosystems explores how energy moves through living systems. Students learn how plants release water through transpiration, how decomposers break down organic matter, and how energy flows through food chains from producers to consumers. They also investigate how organisms depend on one another to maintain balance in ecosystems.

The Universe and Its Stars Earth and Space Science

In this unit, students investigate how scientists study space and the objects within it. They also investigate how filtration systems clean water and why conserving water resources is important.
