Classroom To GO Units
Pushes and Pulls Physical Science
Pushes and Pulls introduces students to forces and how they cause objects to move. Students explore how pushing and pulling can change an object's speed, direction, or motion, and how different amounts of force affect movement. They also examine how forces are used in objects like tools, rockets, and robots.
NGSS: K-PS2-1 K-PS2-2
Our Sun Physical Science
Our Sun introduces students to the sun as a star that provides light and heat to Earth. Students explore how sunlight creates shadows, warms objects, and includes ultraviolet light that can affect people and materials. They also examine how shade and shelters can block sunlight and help protect living things from the sun's rays.
NGSS: K-PS3-1 K-PS3-2
Needs of Living Things l Life Science
This unit introduces students to the five senses and how they help people and animals gather information about their surroundings. Students explore how sight, smell, taste, hearing, and touch help living things find food, stay safe, and communicate. They also examine how different senses help living things survive.
NGSS: K-LS1-1 1-LS1-1
Needs of Living Things ll Life Science
Needs of Living Things II explores how plants and animals meet their basic needs to survive. Students learn how living things find food, grow from seeds, build shelters, and stay safe from predators. They also examine how body structures and behaviors help living things live in their environments.
NGSS: K-LS1-1 K-ESS2-2
Weather Earth and Space Science
Weather explores common weather patterns and the changing seasons. Students investigate how temperature, precipitation, and clouds are part of weather and how the sun helps drive these changes. They also observe different types of clouds and learn how water moves through the water cycle.
